Talking on the cell phone

I know I shouldn't be listening in,but I just don't understand why people have to talk so loud when they are on their phones. I am sitting in a salon,waiting to get my nails done and this chick, we will call her Lola, is discussing her party busses,drunken nights, and hot guys that she slid in on to take a picture with. Lola is the stereotypical Snottsdale female,talking about her expensive dinner dates to the Melting Pot. As she continues to shout into the phone, she twirls her hair like a LA Valley girl from the movie Clueless.She let's everyone know..or tries to make them think that she is important, unaware that a future best selling author is sitting quietly in the corner chair and is creating a character out of her.
